The following is a letter mailed to residents and property owners affected by the NH Route 120 Pedestrian/Bicycle Improvements project dated August 9, 2016.
Dear School Street, College Street, Messenger Street and South Street Residents/Property Owners:
I am writing this letter today to update you of the street reconstruction that is taking place.
The Contractor has temporarily moved off the project while the utility companies are relocating wires to the new poles and removing the old poles as the next phase of work requires the poles to be relocated. The contractor plans to return either the last week of August or the second week of September and then will finish the project by the end of October. They will continue to monitor the project and progress of the utility companies and make sure that the project is maintained.
If you have any questions with regards to the construction, or would like more information on the project please contact our office at 448-3112 and ask to speak with myself or Erica Brittner (Assistant City Engineer) or email us at Christina.Hall@lebcity.com and Erica.Brittner@lebcity.com.
Christina Hall, P.E., City Engineer
On August 28, 2013 City Staff conducted an on-street informational meeting to review the project area for the NH 120 (School Street) street/sidewalk reconstruction project to begin in early 2014.
Three options were presented and discussed for this project. Option #2 has been chosen as the design for the construction of this project. Option #1 and #3 are also available for viewing. Please note: Phase I ends at Messenger Street.
